my memory bank serves me well when i remember seeing a similar bowl with the one (first picture) emily from the SCOOP was sharing. when then, i thought the bowl mab and i were eating off was good-looking enough, now it seems like emily’s smaller-black-dots-bowl look classier.

well, the dinner and movie threesome date that geraldine aka cheesy mooncake did not join us for (!!), even after much whine and threat, mab and i resolved to drown our sorrows in juicy dumpling and sliced mango wrapped in egg roll and an ice kacang of kiwi, strawberry and (more) mango to wash it all down; we were that depressed! what’s more, it’s located opposite our favorite hong kong eatery! cheesy mooncake! you owe us one!

look how depress we are
Daily, Apartment Therapy would email their newsletter to my account covering interiors of kitchens, bedrooms or living rooms right to the itty-bitty details of ceiling fans, shelving and wallpaper. I mean, i certainly didn’t expect to learn about How To’s and D.I.Y’s when i sign up for it! but they’re cool and inspiring and is starting to be real addictive for me. Also not forgetting (my favorite) the house tours available from new york, los angeles, san francisco and chicago; i’m never a fan of home pictures but the pictures here are really easy on the eye. Another (first) favorite house tours would have to be Design*Sponge Sneak Peeks – i had picked two that had fit my ideal of an attic room..

from design*sponge before and after: leah hennen’s circa 1939 home’s attic
i coo at the creamy white walls, roof ceilings, windows, wooden flooring (i’d change it to dark wood), the little staircase up and the many peekaboo shelving, which leah hennen has successfully spoil them with picture frames and stuff toys.

ooooh!! i love this corner.

and another from design*sponge sneak peek: jessica helgerson interior design that you must see more of its Green theme home here!
Read a post on, “this cool “shack” that architect jeffery s. broadhurst built for his family in west virginia. accessible only by off-road-vehicle…” on Design*Sponge. Following up to yesterday’s rush in want to get away, this is perfect! it will be a dream come true to have a place like that to run to. imagine! you can just drop all means of communication behind and just chill here. go to a place nobody knows where and where nobody can get to you. imagine the wind blowing in the day, the chill at night; the darkness and serenity. aah… let me indulge.

i’m feeling this intense want for a holiday. to just get out and into a place different in culture and language and unfamiliar in landscape and infrastructure … i can’t wait for the SuperStar Virgo to come back! and to top it off, all i need is the freedom to go on a trip on my own! ha.

now isn’t that just tempting…
I remembered, we miistyfied aunties had wanted to create one of little miisty’s world into something like this but because of the scale of what we imagine, it was too big with too little time to make our dreams come truuue. oooh well.

Interior of a Nume house from Crea il tuo spazio through the SCOOP

and another beautiful drawing to share from an unexpected website, a vintage door knob wine stoppers. NOW see! that’s what i’m talking about, technical-business-like-stuff like that can always have a creative approach to their advertising.
